As a writer I can connect, my father always feels grateful on this day as my great grandfather and grandfather died at a young age.
Till now one aspect of the story is highlighted. Every year it is discussed that take care of sentiments of orphans. They feel lonely this day. But, no one talks about parents without children. What they feel on this day?
About 55% of men ages 15 to 44 are childless, the number is 44% for women. And among men ages 40 to 44, and presumably nearing the end of when they are likely to become fathers, the share that was childless was 24%, compared with 15% of women in that age group.

CHILDNESS IS OF 3 TYPES:
First one who don’t have children because of biological issues. According to 2018 in the U.S, 96.9% of women between 15–19 years old were childless. In the same year, 15% of women between 40–44 years old were childless. Another finding here states that Childlessness in England and Wales 2016; women born in 1920, 21% remained childless by their 46th birthday. This fell to one in ten for women born in 1945. The cohort of women who have most recently come to the end of their official childbearing period were born in 1971. In this cohort, 18% remained childless which marked an increase of women with children in comparison to the previous cohort. What husbands of these women feel on this very day?
The second case of childlessness is the parents who lost their children in childhood (Accident, Natural death). Here is the hyperlink that shows the stats children per woman that survived childhood VS those that died in childhood, United States, 1933–2016.
Heading towards the last and worst-case scenario. The people who gave their lives (suicide). The chart shows the deaths from suicide, by age, World, 1990–2017. In 2017, 793,823 people committed suicides and about 57.1% of people were from 15–49 years of age. Following 2017 map shows the suicides/100,000 people.
Recently, a brilliant Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput committed suicide. He was a man with a successful life. He had a good family system. They were 3 siblings. His sister Mitu Singh, is a state-level cricketer. Sushant attended St. Karen’s High School in Patna and kulachi Hansraj Model School in New Delhi. He ranked 17th in the DCE Entrance exam in 2003 and secured an admission in the Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical Engineering) class at Delhi Technological University. He was also a National Olympiad Winner in Physics. He was a kind of nerd. He completed only three years of the four-year course before an entertainment career. He started to live his dream of acting as he had an interest in it. He started to take dance classes. He joined back dancers groups. He did hard work. Sushant moved to Mumaba Babbar’s Ekjute Theatre group. From here his successful actor life began. He acted in the television (drama) industry from 2008–2011. He did 5 TV serials and 8 movies. M.S. DHONI: THE UNTOLD STORY is one of his biggest milestones. But, in the end, he gave his glorious life. By hanging on the fan. Though he promoted a social message against suicide in his blockbuster movie Chhichhore. What his father will be feeling this day? What his sisters will do on Raksha Bandhan? What he gave to them a pain for life? People are blaming Nepotism for this incident. But, actors like Kangana Ranaut and Manoj Bajpai with no links in the industry clearly said that nepotism exists in the human nature. It’s in every domain and part of the world. We cannot end this we just can prove ourselves by our craft, skills, and hard work. Therefore, suicide is not a solution to any problem on this planet. Think about these days Mother’s Day, Father’s day, Raksha Bandhan, etc. Family should be at the top priority list. Parents gave you life.
I hope, that this article will help people to understand the importance of being a child (Family member). We should also think about the childless fathers on this day every year. My sincere wishes to all the fathers reading. Thanks!
