According to a report, Pakistan has surpassed India and Bangladesh in sending manpower abroad during 2020–21 and has become the leader of the region by sending 224,705 people to different countries despite Corona. During this period, Bangladesh sent 217,699 people and India sent 94,145 people abroad for employment. Prime Minister Imran Khan’s personal efforts have played a role in Pakistan’s success. According to the Economic Survey, more than 11.4 million people live in 50 countries for employment, while our workforce is based in Saudi Arabia. The rate of Pakistanis here is more than 60% compared to others. The figure is 24 % in the UAE and 4.6% in Oman. The federal budget for 2020–21 was not well-received in view of the deteriorating economic conditions in the country due to the Corona pandemic, but the record increase in remittances of 2 billion was encouraging. The largest share of Pakistanis living in Saudi Arabia is a total of 7 billion, followed by 5.6 billion from the United Arab Emirates, 3.7 billion from the United Kingdom and 2.5 billion from the United States. Pakistan’s manpower has not only made a name for itself in the world as a person due to its competence, dedication and hard work in all walks of life, but it has also enhanced Pakistan’s prestige in these countries. Their remittances this year are a breath of fresh air in economic growth. Immigrants are our precious asset. Patriotism and its role in the construction and development of Pakistan are commendable. The government should solve all their possible problems in the best interest of the motherland.
