Smoking is an ingestion of smoke that is produced from tobacco. The smoke is inhaled with cigarettes, mouths, pipes, or cigars. Serbia has the highest smoking ratio which is 2,861 cigarettes per person annually.
According to an American traveler, Indonesia is a home to chain smokers. Indonesian nation is obsessed with the smoking habit. Even their under 15 children are not away from this bad habit. Almost 2,500 minor children every day try their first cigarette. 400 become regular daily smokers. Cigarette smoke contains more than 7,000 chemicals. 70 out of it causes cancer. Almost 90% of smokers start smoking before the age of 18. Smoking and tobacco will cause 8 million deaths annually by 2030. Which almost double of this year deaths. Tobacco is the utmost cause of preventable death in the world.
The following statistics are from the following study: 1 in 5 adults have smoked tobacco in the world. Men are likely to smoke than women. Smoking probably affects old people; about 50% of deaths over 70 years old; 93% were over 50 years. These statistics show that in 2018, about 64% of all cigarettes worldwide were sold in the Asia-Pacific region. Folks! Don’t smoke!
