WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN US AND THEM?
Eight billion people are living in this world. Everyone thinks his life is unique. The sorrows and joys he is being nurtured have never happened to anyone before; though the reality is the opposite. Ever since man was born, the same story has been repeated over and over again. Everyone is jealous of other children in the mother’s lap. He tries to snatch toys from them and keeps doing it all his life. The only difference is that when he grows up, he replaces the toy with a woman, money, and land. He even falls into the grave. Everyone in this world lives under the pressure of desires, whether king or poor. Yes, but God’s friends overcome these desires with God’s help.
People say that we were born in a time of tribulations? In that sense, we are fortunate to have inherited many advanced sciences, including astronomy and geosciences. With the help of radiocarbon dating, we can observe not only three million human years, but also four and a half billion years of the planet. The science of DNA and fossils is now very advanced. The age of these remains can be estimated. It is possible to sketch any living thing with the help of a few bones. The dinosaur is one of them.
These sciences tell us that there are millions of species living on earth today. Man is just one of them. It seems that man is living here on the strength of his intellect and strength. On the other hand, the fact is that these millions of species, deprived of intellect and living on the backs of mountains, are also living very successfully like us. Their needs are being taken care of in the same way as ours. We humans seem to be living on our intellect, but the reality is that we depend on the resources that come out of the earth. Supposing the seed does not sprout, what can we do? It was a feature of the earth that plants grow in it. We eat animals and these animals continue to breed. We extract gold, coal, oil, and iron from the earth’s crust. All these reserves, all these resources are kept in this world. Suppose there were no iron or oil under the ground, what would we do? Like other animals, we humans would die of old age.
In these circumstances, it is more important to know what we are doing here on earth. Many believe that it was just a coincidence that one of the five billion creatures of the past and present, a two-legged animal, raised its head and began to examine the universe and the atoms of its own body. He started dressing and making traffic signals. Tell me, is this a coincidence? We have been given a body on the planet that has many desires. To fulfill those desires, we make the journey from the mother’s lap to the grave. Fulfillment of desires is not just a matter of us, whether we are kings or poor.
There is no limit to these desires. Poor relatives get killed for the land. If the story of human life is to be written in a few sentences, it can be said that some things have attracted us and we have been increasing them all our lives. They keep trying; they even face death.
There is a lesson in the science of fossils. From this, the age of everything can be estimated. Assuming that the tools we find with human remains, ropes have never been discovered before 28,000 years ago, it can be inferred that ropes were invented 28,000 years ago. Sixty-five million years ago, if the discovery of the structures of many living things, including dinosaurs, suddenly ceased, it means that there was then a universal extinction event, which wiped them out forever. These are all things that man has today.
The science of astronomy is now very advanced. Not only has man sent binoculars into space, but his power and ability to see into the distance is rapidly increasing. Man was sent to this blue planet for contemplation, but other animals also fight for the protection and resources of their offspring. Then what is the difference between us and them?
